Blue Dasher Perch

Blue Dashers...are usually incredibly hard to photograph around here. I got a ton of them back where I used to live (if you look through the older dragonfly photos, you'll see them.)

Easy positive ID on this guys (because otherwise they look a LOT like blue pondhawks) is the eyes. They have bigger lenses in the top compound eye, which often makes their eyes look more detailed than other dragonflies.
