Never to Fly

A newborn dragonfly I found this morning. As you can see, it has beautiful wings... but half of its wings are gone, eaten by predators before I got there. I transferred this little guy from its upside-down hanging pose in the pond so it got a chance to perch on stuff at least, and I fed it a few insects. It was awesome but also really sad, cause I knew it wouldn't survive.
