Tri Colored Heron

I was dreaming my way down a nature walk at about 9 AM when this little fellow flew right up onto the walkway across from me. He didn't seem shy at all, but curious, and only flew off when more people showed up. It was startling to see such a beautiful creature appear suddenly! I keep running into all these bright blue herons
